Our client is one of the world leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery to companies both in the UK and overseas and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Multiskilled Engineer Electrical bias.

Basic Salary £45K - £50K Neg + OT + Benefits

The Role:

Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for building, testing, installation, commissioning and some service and repair work of machinery at both in the UK and overseas.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;

  • Assist with design and build of electrical control panels for bespoke machinery
  • Working with hydraulic & pneumatic systems
  • Mechanical fitting and assembly of components, gearboxes, motors, pumps, etc etc
  • 3-phase electrical fault find and repair on motors, servos, 415v and 24v circuits
  • plc controls

Candidate:

You will be a competent multiskilled engineer with excellent electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
You will have a recognised electrical engineering qualification and ideally you will have previous experience in the installation, service and repair of automated machinery.

You will demonstrate good customer service and communication skills and you will be of a friendly disposition.

You will be prepared to undertake occasional (3-4 trips per annum) UK and international travel as part of your work routine.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday 37.5 hours + OT
Occasional weekend work
